One More Why

I have one more "why" to add to my list (see 2 posts below).

Why on earth would the oldies radio station be playing "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys ???? I was in grade school when that came out. It jogs memories of Uncle Jessie on Full House singing it with the Beach Boys. I am not old enough to hear songs I remember coming out on an OLDIES station!

Must be "evolution" because all of MY true oldies aren't played any more. Everything the oldies stations are playing now seem like they were out a couple of years ago! Am I old? NAWWWWWWW!

Why are the boys wearing girly tight pants? I could deal with the saggers. The David Bowie look is cute, But not on all the kids.

I have alot of why's about the 80's

Remember those little clips the girls would put on the sid of their T-shirts?
Or double sparkly shoe laces on LA-Gears?
Tights and leg warmers?
hair crimping?
Neaon bracelets?
Debbie Gibson?
Punky Bruster?
Or KIDS incorperated?

How about Overalls with one strap hanging down and
Hyper color T- shirts. Sorry that was early 90's

They change those radio station formats all the time and also what qualifies as oldies, contemporary, etc. I think I heard Guns n Roses on one of those stations believe it or not!

I was talking to some of the teens, telling them some of the rap musicians I liked, and they said "Oh, you like the old school stuff." And this was 6 years ago back in CA, and the music I was talking about was the stuff we listened to in high school...
