but now I'm re-thinking it. I definitely want to homeschool my girls and a few weeks ago we decided we would like to try going through the school district where the curriculum is free and we know Annie would be legally enrolled as a student of the public school (which took care of any legality concerns we had). One of our concerns, also, is that our children keep up with the academic state standards. However, on Monday night I attended an informational meeting at our church and was rather impressed with what they have to offer. I think what is most attractive to me is the support that is offered with other homeschool families and the practical wisdom I could glean from the parents who have "been there, done that". They also offer Friday school where my children can take classes with other children (that helps out in the structure and socialization areas). So we are back to reveiwing all the information we have. My heart is leaning towards participating in the ISP at church where they emphasize teaching character and academics, but we're still praying and seeking God's will. (sigh)

Tupperware Party
My sister-in-law, Monica, put on a Tupperware party for me a couple weeks ago. She did such a fabulous job and really impressed me with her presentation. She signed me up to be a consultant and I'm so excited! At my own party I earned so much free Tupperware, which includes a Lemonade Prep and Serve kit. I can't wait for my Fedex lady to bring it to me! So many of my friends were so sweet to order products, even though they couldn't make it to the party. This coming Friday will be my first party to put on by myself...I'm nervous! Hopefully it will be lots of fun and my host will earn tons of free and discounted Tupperware. Here is the link to my own Tupperware website. Feel free to contact me at "lauramramirez AT my2.tupperware.com" (the e-mail is not in the correct format to reduce spammers) if you're ever interested in ordering products or hosting your own party to earn free products.

Cute Story I Forgot To Share
I know Easter is long gone, but there is a story I forgot to post about. We were making our resurrection rolls and when we got to the part where we open the oven (tomb), I asked the kids, "What did Peter find when he returned to the garden?" Immediately Bekah shouted, "Mr. MacGregor!!!!" Uh, wrong Peter, wrong garden, wrong story. Gotta love that kid. :)
