The Gospel
We are all sinners. "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23
Christ, who is perfect, died and paid the penalty for our sins. "but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8
God wants us to repent (turn away from) our sins. "Repent, and believe in the gospel." - Mark 1:15b
God wants us to receive (accept, trust, and put our faith in) Christ. "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become chldren of God,..." - John 1:12
Have you received Christ as your Lord and Savior?

Happy Birthday, Jose! I was out all day yesterday and when I returned home I was SO tired that I fell asleep and didn't wake up 'til this morning. I'll call you with B-day wishes tonight!
