Autumn is coming! I couldn't wait one more week until the official beginning of Fall...I had to change the colors of my blogspot to match my favorite season of the year. I can't wait...soups, pies, sweaters, apples, pumpkins, beautiful leaves, and a crispness in the air.

I know, isn't exciting. In fact I went to my now favorite store - Kmart and they have so much "stuff" to decorate for fall. I had to exercise "self-contro". However, I did end up buying some things. I love your new "blog-page" color. Maybe we should have a "welcome fall luncheon or something". This is all new to me, but o so wonderful.
Yep, I agree that Autumn is the best time of the year. I can already smell the pumpkin pie baking in the oven! HA!
Your new background color is MOST excellent!
I changed the background to be a little lighter. My in-home IT Professional suggested I do it so the text will be easier to read. I'm glad he sees the things I don't! :-)
Totally! I love to wear sweaters and go for walks at anytime of the day. I went to a fall dinner one time. It was sweet. The host decorated the tabels with elegant candels, pretty goblets, and white and black tabel cloths sprinkled with their leaves from outside. They had worship and a devotional as the aroma of Italian food lingered through the house.I guess this season is scettched in my mind as well. Your page backround reminds me of pumkin pie. One of my favorites. I think this is also a great time to hang up lots of crafts that our little blessings will make.
Love Lots,
Nettie
o and have you had the "pumpkin spiced latte" from Starbucks...it is back!!! It is so yummy on a crisp autumn day...mmmmmm
I have had to exercise self-control in several stores in the last month (can you believe how far in advance of an event/holiday they put out decorations!?)...Target, Michael's, even the supermarket. So far so good.
Leti- I have to come see your new autumn stuff...I'm jealous! :)
Thanks for the compliments on my background!
A fall or harest celebration meal sounds sooo good! And the dinner you described, Nettie, sounds so wonderful.
I haven't had the pumkin spice latte yet...nor the pumpkin cream cheese muffin. mmmmm Maybe on Thursday or Friday I'll go since its suppossed to rain.
Laura, I thought of you this morning on my way to work. The leaves are starting to change color here--we've got some yellows and reds showing up. In a couple of weeks, we'll have full blown fall colors. You definitely have to come up here sometime in late Sept./early Oct. You'll love it.
